Blossoms Enfield is delighted to announce the opening of a new Early Intervention Class in its new premises in Enfield Business Park. Places will be available to children who are entitled to the Home Tuition Grant.
The programme will be run by an Early Years Educator holding a Masters in Education and BA in Early Childhood Teaching and Learning, with two assistants each holding Teaching Council registration and Garda Vetting. Children will have opportunities each day to integrate with other children attending the preschool.
The session will run from 12.30-4.30 each day from Monday to Friday. The Early Intervention curriculum will be based on the Montessori method, integrating the use of Hanen, Lamh and PECs to meet the children's needs. An Individual Education plan will be devised for each child using the ABBLS (Assessment of Basic language and Learning Skills) observational assessment tool. IEP's will be reviewed regularly to support each child's needs.
ABA techniques will be used to support a positive reinforcement strategy which will support the acquisition of new skills and development. Blossoms will work closely with parents, each multidisciplinary teams and any professionals linked with their child.
